To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideals of the selfless service among the youth and make them useful citizens and to create a human resource of organized, trained and activated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life including the armed forces and always available for the service of the nation and to provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up the career in armed forces, the National Cadet Corps has been setup in the college. Regular parades are held in the college. During the parades the cadets are given training in drill, map reading and classes are conducted on topics like Indian history and geography, Indian military history, general knowledge, leadership qualities and man – management. Basic leadership camp (BLC), Army attachment camp (AAC), Annual training camp (ATC), Advance leadership camp (ALC), National integration camp (NIC), Trekking camps, Special National Integration camp (SNIC) etc.
We have one senior wing unit of 20 UP Girls Battalion. Capt. (Prof.) Monika Srivastava-ANO is ably guiding the cadetes.
