Internal Quality Assurance Cell    

The NAAC advocates the establishment of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) by all the accredited institutions as a post accreditation quality sustenance activity. IQAC internalizes and institutionalizes the quality enhancement through a sense of belongingness and participation among the constituents of an institution . IQAC channelizes the efforts of the institution towards academic excellence. Overall quality development of the institute is the ultimate goal of the IQAC.

MINUTES OF THE IQAC MEETING ON 13th SEP.2018

The first meeting of the restructured IQAC was held on 13th sep 2018 in the Principal`s  room of A.P. Sen Memorial girls College. It was attended   by the following   members :-
 Chairman, Coordinator and six members. As the Quorum was complete, the proceedings were held as per the agenda.

  1. Chairperson welcomed the new members of IQAC, introduced  the coordinator and offered her complete support and best wishes to the new team.
  2. Coordinator read out the objectives and functions of IQAC.
  3. Information   regarding the new rules and procedures of NAAC after 1st  July  2017 and the  decisions  taken  by NAAC in its  executive council on 16-5-18  was disseminated to the members by the coordinator.
  4. After this members came up with their plans and suggestions for improvement in the quality of  ‘education  rendered  by the college. Academic Calendar was finalized.

5a.) It was resolved  that  since our AQAR 2017-18 is half ready, We will go with the old format and Submit before 31st December 2018. A notice has to be circulated among teachers in this regard.

5b.)As  a new format for AQAR has been released by  NCCR, it was decided that a criterion wise sample hard copy will be distributed to the teachers so that they start preparing for AQAR 2018-19 right form now.

5c.)College has been functioning through various cells and committees. IQAC members were given the responsibility of collecting  reports of committees assigned to then by the end of September. It was decided  that  IQAC will hold  regular meeting with the different committees  in the month of October.

5d.)Marksheets  of all classes have been received by the College.  IQAC decided to collect department wise results of both UG and PG   programmes. Notice is to be issued.

5e.)Semester System has been introduced  in Lucknow University  this year. All  HODS(Head of Department) will be directed to Prepare their Departmental Files.

5f.)IQAC decided  that  all committees/ Cells will be asked to include student representatives  in their cells.

5g.) NAAC accreditation of  our college ends on 24th  October 2018. With a view  to start the process of 2nd   cycle, IQAC decided to update Minimum Institutional   Requirements.

5h.) Dr. Neelam Rani Srivastava,  Associate Professor,  Department of  Sanskrit  will take over all the  responsibilities erstwhile held  by Dr. Saroj Mishra who superannuated recently (30th June 2018).

5i.)Academic  Calendar 2018-19 was finalized.

6.Administrative  Committees  assigning to Executive  Responsibilities  to  Staff  were reshuffled for  the  Session  2018-19.

7.The New IQAC  resolved  to get College Magazine  published after  a long gap of 10 years.

8. IQAC  will try its best to  hold Annual Function/ Prize Day this year once again after a long gap.

9.   Plan of Action 2018-19 was  finalized

10.   IQAC  will try for funds from funding agencies and   other sources  for the development of infrastructure

5e.)Information circulated that all committee heads should  handover   report of their cells to the concerned IQAC Incharge.
Notices issued on all relevant topics via circular No. IQAC/1/2018-19dt 15-9-18 and IQAC/2/2018-19.dated 15-9-18.
