Eligibility for Admission:


The students seeking admission in B.A must have passed Intermediate Examination of U.P Board or equivalent examination recognized by Lucknow University.

Every candidate seeking admission in B.A shall be required to offer three subjects as provided for the scheme of examination, the candidates shall have to choose two subject in B.A III rd.

The students seeking admission in M.A classes in Hindi & Sociology must have passed B.A from any University in India with the subject. 

NEP (National Education Policy):-
The criterion proposed for the seat allotment for admission to B.A. for the session 2021-22


The no of seats in each subject shall be divided as Follows:-

  1. The (2/3) rd. of the total number of sanctioned seats in each subject shall be given under the Major subjects.
  2. The remaining (1/3) rd. of the total number of sanctioned seats in each subject shall be given under the minor subject.

2- The student will have to choose 2 Major subjects from groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J (Any one subject from any group).

3- One Minor subject will be have to be chosen from any group except the groups already chosen as Major subjects with following restrictions.
      (a). The subjects which have been chosen as major subject cannot be chosen as minor subjects.
